My feeder is the longer Enterprise feeder. I would say 90% of them are flat enough I can walk away from the printer whether they are regulars or windows. The envelopes I use are from a dealer that handles Western States. I have no idea what "clutch" you are referring to, but would like to know. They are rated for 160,000 and up and I just now replaced the original.

I have the info on how to turn up the temp on the fuser as it ages so you can use the "Lite" setting most of the time on full color envelopes. I have had to fine tune lots of little issues on the printer, but at this point it is performing very well. Leaving it glued on doesn't seem to make any difference when I feed card stock (up to 100# cover) or other stuff in the bypass tray. So I glued the top half on the feeder arm. By "easily" I mean I put one on and the next morning it was broken in two and had fallen off. However, the ones I got are very poor quality and break very easily. A Xante troubleshooter in California asked me if the clip was on and I had no idea what he was talking about. The Impressia is supposed to come with one, but I never saw it. The sensor clip is a must because it keeps the pile from getting too thick at the feeder. If not, it's not new, it's considered demo equipment and is worth about half the price of MSRP. And make sure the machine he is selling comes packaged new in Xante original packaging with new starter set consumables. If he is a legit dealer, this should be no problem. DEFINATELY demand to full demo IQueue BEFORE you buy.

It definitely has some controls beyond the old windows print dialog preferences, but it's glitchy in my opinion. I've had it for a LONG time and not really all that impressed. Hopefully your operator is somewhat technical and can solve some issues on his own.Īs far as IQueue.
So, in our case, we have called them sparingly and not renewed our service warranty. We have found that they often force you to change out costly consumables before they will help you diagnose an issue that may be completely unrelated. Xante support has gotten better over the years, but the machine still has limitations that they can't solve. We bought our first Impressia through a dealer who promised all kinds of support, and as soon as the check was cashed, he told us to call Xante. That is true, support is done through Xante unless your dealer also offers it an additional help.
